The Agriculture Minister has also claimed that the farmers will be given assistance as per the rules.

Due to heavy rains during the monsoon in the state, agricultural crops were affected in more than 38 talukas of 9 districts including Navsari, Valsad, Dang, Tapi, Surat in South Gujarat and Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Panchmahal, Kutch in Central Gujarat.
