Ambedkar Awas Yojana Gujarat 2024: Online applications are invited through the District Level Scheduled Caste Welfare Office under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat on the portal esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in. Which is verified by the district level office. A government portal has been opened for the application of eligible beneficiaries to meet the targets for the year 2023-24. Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2024 Objective of the scheme
- Housing is to be provided in a phased manner as a time-bound program to the economically weaker sections of the Scheduled Castes and especially the homeless living below the poverty line. Assistance is paid in three installments of ₹.1,20,000 to persons having an open plot, completely raw mud, grass-covered, kuba type house which is uninhabitable and to construct a house above the first floor with the consent of the owner of the house.
Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2024 Amount of Assistance Received
- The details of when and how much Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana assistance will be available are given below.
- First installment ₹.40,000 (with administrative sanction order)
Second Installment ₹.60,000 (After Reaching Lintel Level)
3rd Installment ₹.20,000 (on completion of construction including toilets)
Total Assistance ₹.1,20,000 (One Lakh Twenty Thousand)
Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2023 Income Limit - Annual income should not exceed ₹.600,000 in rural area and ₹.600,000 in urban area.
Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2023 Terms and Conditions
- Should not have been availed by the beneficiary or other family members of the beneficiary under any other housing scheme implemented by the Govt.
Annual income should not exceed ₹.600,000 in rural area and ₹.600,000 in urban area.
The amount of building assistance will be ₹.1,20,000. In addition, those who are eligible for assistance of ₹.12,000 for toilets will be eligible separately as per the rules of the scheme. But, if the beneficiary is not eligible for toilet assistance then he/she will have to construct the toilet out of the mandatory assistance of ₹.1,20,000.
On the building constructed under this scheme, the beneficiary has to put up a plaque as per “State Government’s Ambedkar Awas Yojana”.
- The upper limit for building construction will be ₹.10,00,000 for urban areas and ₹.7,00,000 for rural areas. The above ceiling limit will not apply to the assistance provided under Affordable Housing Scheme in urban areas
The construction of the house has to be completed within 2 years from the payment of the first installment of the building assistance.
The age of the beneficiary will be at least 21 years.

Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2023 online application process is as follows. (Steps to Apply)
- Step-01 To apply Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2023 online first open the portal esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in.
- step-02 if you have not done e samaj kalyan registration then “New User? Click on Please Register Here.
- 03 in which you have to create a new account by entering name, address, mobile number, password and Captcha Code.
- 04 After creating a new account, you have to click on Citizen Login. You have to login based on User Id, Password and Captcha Code.
- 05 In Citizen Login, you have to click on Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana and then you have to fill your personal information in it. After that the information of houseless or habitable house has to be filled.
- 06 After filling all the information at home, the requested documents have to be uploaded.
- 07 After all the documents are uploaded, check the information once carefully and click on Save. After the final confirmation, the printout has to be taken.
- 08 Application has to be submitted at the district office by attaching all the documents along with Print Application.
