- Gujarat Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai released various schemes in the Gujarat Budget 2024-25 and made several provisions. One of which was also called Lakshmi Yojana. A provision of Rs 1250 crore was made under this scheme.
What is Namo Lakshmi Yojana?

Women have an important role to play in the development of modern society, therefore financial assistance will be given to eligible women under Namo Lakshmi Yojana to educate women and increase the prevalence of education for the development of society and nation.
How much financial assistance will be given under this scheme?
- Under Namo Lakshmi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 10,000 will be given to girl students studying in class 9 and 10 and financial assistance of Rs 15,000 to students studying in class 11 and 12. What is the purpose of this plan?
- Namo Laxmi Yojana aims to increase coverage of nutritional health and education among adolescent girls. The nation will be strong and developed only if the prevalence of education among women increases so that the girl students of class 9 to 12 get education and the education of the girl child is not spoiled due to any kind of economic problem, this scheme has been started and government, aided and private secondary and higher secondary schools. Approximately 10 lakh girl students studying in schools will be benefited under this scheme.
