We know that currently many schemes are released by the government. Government releases many schemes for farmers and poor. Keeping in mind that there are many poor people in our country, the government releases schemes.
The name of the scheme was vhali dikari yojana which was released by Gujarat government in the year 2019 to promote girls. This scheme was started by Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani. 
State government policies, schemes, campaigns and programs are formulated for health, nutrition, education, employment and protection of women of the state. Various schemes like Vidyalakshmi Bond, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Saraswati Sadhana Yojana are in operation for the education of girls in Gujarat.
For the well-being of women, Kasturba Nutrition Support Scheme, Chiranjeevi Scheme, Beti Vadhavo Abhiyan, Sabla Scheme, Kishori Shakti Scheme, while help lines like ‘181-Abhyam’ and ‘1091’ for security are reaching the mothers-sisters and daughters of the state. In this continuous development journey of the state government, a new initiative has been launched in the form of ‘Dear Daughter’ scheme. 
The Government of Gujarat is committed to the overall development of all sections of the society. In this too, the government makes special efforts for the development of the underprivileged, victims, women, farmers and children. Shakt Mahila for a strong Gujarat’ has been the mantra for the inclusive development of Gujarat.
What will be the benefit?
• 4,000 installment when beneficiary’s daughter enters first standard.
• The second installment will be Rs 6 when the daughter enters the ninth standard.
• Financial assistance of one lakh rupees for the last installment when the daughter completes her higher education and gets married at 18 years.
Who will benefit?
• All families residing in Gujarat who have all daughters out of three children.
• To all families whose annual income of the couple exceeds Rs 2 lakh.
• As per the Child Marriage Act, couples who marry as adults are eligible to benefit from this scheme.
